Insect box 30cm x 40cm x 6cm, maple, transparent lacquered, with Plastazote insert.

Due to the constant shortage of insect boxes throughout Europe, we decided to have our own boxes built in our own country. After a long search, we finally succeeded in finding a supplier that delivers typical Swiss quality and still remains within an acceptable price range. We also achieve the latter by foregoing the usual margin.

The new boxes from our own production are made in Switzerland from European maple. The design concept was developed by us in colaboration with the joinery.

-> Height of box 40mm, lid 20mm

-> Material: maple, varnished, lid with inlaid 2mm float glass; 10mm thick, finely foamed Plastazote insert

-> reinforced angles that do not warp

-> milled groove on both long sides to make it easier to lift off the lid

-> tightly closing tongue and groove system to keep out museum beetles and other scavengers

-> production by protected Swiss workplaces
