Delivery time approx. 5-7 daysThe scope of delivery of the killing jar includes a cap with a fumigant container, as well as an inner snap-on lid and an outer screw cap of the cup.
Easier to use than conventional killing jars.
Application:
1. Preparation: Either leave the container empty or fill it loosely with crumpled kitchen paper, for example. Fill the fumigant container in the silicone stopper with cork granules, a roll of kitchen paper or another suitable substrate.
2. Application: Place live insects in the killing jar and screw it shut. Open the fumigation container from the outside and drizzle a suitable (rapidly evaporating) killing agent such as ethyl acetate (aka ethyl acetate or vinegar ether) into the contained substrate. Close the lid of the fumigation container quickly. During the collection work in the field, if necessary add a few drops of killing agent from time to time.
3. After use in the field, remove the stopper with the fumigation container for transportation and replace it with the inner snap-on lid and the outer screw cap.
